Ryan is a NYS Licensed funeral director since 2008 after receiving his Associate Degree in Mortuary Science at SUNY Canton. He and his wife Abby are cat lovers and have rescued multiple. When he is not caring for his feline companions Zoey and Pumpkin, he enjoys being active in the community, he is a member of Kiwanis, Sons of the American Legion #1619, and a member of the CVPH Foundation.

In his free time, you can find he and his wife Nikki hiking throughout the Adirondacks with their beloved Goldendoodles, Porter and Boots.
